I loved the tv show “V” as a teenager. So it was a real honour to be asked to play
the role of RICHARD MAXWELL in this new reimagining from [BIG FINISH PRODUCTIONS](https://www.bigfinish.com/releases/v/v-uk-visitation-3180).

It was also a “proud dad” moment, as my daughter makes her Big Finish debut as KEV.

**_London. Present Day.  _**

_Earth is visited by aliens, bringing peace and prosperity. But their intentions
are not benevolent, and soon the world is under occupation. While some choose to
collaborate with the Visitors, others decide to fight back. _

In 1983, the world was stunned by a TV miniseries of such scope it cast a shadow
over science fiction for decades to come. From the mind of [Kenneth Johnson](https://www.bigfinish.com/contributors/v/Kenneth-Johnson-12380)(
creator of _The Bionic Woman_ and _The Incredible Hulk_ for television), _V_ told
the story of a band of freedom fighters struggling against a totalitarian alien
force whose plan is to enslave humanity while harvesting Earth’s resources.

Now _V_ is reimagined for audio, with two box-sets due for release in 2025. Starring
[Annabel Baldwin](https://www.bigfinish.com/contributors/v/Annabel-Baldwin-12367),
[Janie Dee](https://www.bigfinish.com/contributors/v/Janie-Dee-10241) and [Jack Myers](https://www.bigfinish.com/contributors/v/Jack-Myers-11457),
and boasting cinematic sound design and a specially composed music score, [V – UK](https://www.bigfinish.com/ranges/v/v-uk)
has been adapted from the original scripts by [Jonathan Morris](https://www.bigfinish.com/contributors/v/Jonathan-Morris-176).

Volume one, [V – UK: Visitation](https://www.bigfinish.com/releases/v/v-uk-visitation-3180)
is now available to pre-order for just £24.99 (collector’s edition CD box set +
download) or £19.99 (digital download only), [exclusively here](https://www.bigfinish.com/releases/v/v-uk-visitation-3180).

The three exciting hour-long episodes are as follows:

**Episode One   **

_Alien motherships appear above cities across the globe. The world reacts with panic
and fear – until the commander of the Visitors appears and reveals that they come
in need of help. Their offer seems too good to be true…  _

**Episode Two   **

_One month later, and the Visitors have become part of everyday life. But people
are beginning to disappear, and scientists are being persecuted. Documentary-maker
Mike Donovan sneaks on board one of the motherships and discovers the horrifying
truth.   _

**Episode Three  **

_It is now Christmas. The Visitors have taken charge, imposing martial law over
the UK. Scientists are forced to go into hiding – and Doctor Juliet Parrish finds
herself becoming the reluctant leader of the rebellion.   _
