Was such a thrill to don a mocap suit and be part of this epic game from Larian Studios! I’m dotted all over it. Time to play “Hunt The Spooner!”
BALDUR’S GATE III
In the 15th century DR, the mind flayers have launched an aggressive invasion of the Forgotten Realms. Key to their strategies are their nautiloid flying ships, used to travel between realms, and illithid tadpoles, which are inserted into the brains of captives to transform them into more mind flayers. The player character is one such captive, along with the human wizard Gale, the half-elf cleric Shadowheart, the high elf vampire Astarion, the human warlock Wyll, and the githyanki fighter Lae’zel. While these six are given illithid tadpoles along with many others, their transformation is inexplicably delayed. Before the mind flayers can study them further, the nautiloid they are aboard comes under attack from githyanki warriors riding dragons, causing the ship to crash in the Forgotten Realms. The player character and their newfound companions escape the wreckage, and amid a time of war, they must find a way to safely remove their parasites before their time runs out.
